A Sichuan-based enterprise producing quartz sand for photovoltaic glass faced unstable iron removal results and frequent manual cleaning issues. The pre-selected quartz sand raw material contained 0.11% Fe₂O₃, mixed with micro weak magnetic iron impurities and equipment wear iron scraps, which restricted production capacity and product quality. In May 2026, the enterprise launched a combined purification solution of 13000Gs permanent drawer grate magnet and 1.5T dry powder electromagnetic separator. The grate magnet first intercepts coarse iron impurities, while the electromagnetic separator deeply removes micro weak magnetic iron contaminants. Adopting full 316L stainless steel sealed and dust-proof structure, the equipment is perfectly adapted for 20-120 mesh dry quartz sand processing. After commissioning, the Fe₂O₃ content of finished quartz sand is stably reduced to 0.008%, with the whiteness increased by 2-3 degrees, fully meeting the standards for high-end photovoltaic glass raw materials. The cleaning cycle is extended from twice per shift to once per week, and the single-line production capacity is increased by 12%.
