EU’s First Integrated Rare-Earth Magnet Recycling Line Launched in Germany, Surge in Demand for Eddy Current & Electroma

HyProMag opened the EU’s first integrated rare-earth magnet recycling production line in Pforzheim, Germany. The full process adopts high-frequency eddy current separators, high-gradient electromagnetic separators and self-discharging drum magnetic separators for sorting and purifying waste magnetic materials.

The line recycles NdFeB blocks from scrapped motors and waste magnetic separation equipment with a metal recovery rate of 96.8%. EU countries successively release mandatory rare-earth recycling regulations. In June, inquiries for magnetic separation equipment from recycling enterprises in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium rose 72% year-on-year, and fully automatic self-cleaning grate magnets become standard front-end iron removal equipment for recycling lines.
