Domestic Breakthrough in Dry-Wet NdFeB Magnetic Drum Technology, Replacing Imported Mineral Fine Sorting Equipment

2026-07-21

Chinese magnetic equipment enterprises released a new alternating-pole NdFeB permanent magnetic drum technology, optimizing magnetic pole layout to solve material adhesion and blockage issues of traditional drums. Its magnetic field strength doubles that of ordinary ferrite equipment, applicable to both dry and wet mineral processing scenarios.

This model fits rough and fine sorting of low-grade iron ore, sand aggregate and solid waste recycling, with a single unit throughput up to 180 tons per hour. Large domestic sand and lithium mine technical transformation projects prioritize replacing imported drum magnetic separators. Domestic bidding orders for complete mine magnetic separation equipment rose 51% year-on-year in July, and matching units were exported to nickel mining projects in Southeast Asia.
