The yield of high-end polished tiles was only 76%, restricting export orders to European and American markets.
High-gradient slurry electromagnetic separators are installed between ball mill discharge outlets and glazing processes, matched with small front-end drawer magnetic grates for pre-removal of coarse iron. The wet high-strength magnetic field adsorbs micron-scale weak magnetic impurities in slurry, and the equipment comes with an automatic backwashing structure to adapt to long-term circulating production of high-viscosity glaze without blockage or shutdown.
After transformation, the iron content of glaze slurry drops from 0.39% to 0.07%, and glaze surface defects of tiles are reduced by 91%. The yield of high-end tiles rises to 95.3%, with export orders to Europe growing by 42% month-on-month. The factory plans to purchase matching equipment for three more glaze production lines in Phase II construction.
